MARTIN, Rex Andrew Mr. Rex Andrew Martin of Sylvan Lake passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre, on Wednesday, February 16, 2005 at the age of 78 years. Rex was born at Maple Creek, Saskatchewan on Monday, February 7, 1927. He is predeceased by an infant daughter as well as by both of his parents and two brothers. Rex is survived by Phyllis, his loving wife of nearly 55 years. His memory will be cherished by one son Garry (Dixie) Martin of Lacombe, three daughters; Della (Don) Bolze of Sylvan Lake, Carla (Devin) Rodway of Lacombe and Darlene (Randy) Mayer of Red Deer. Rex's memory will be further cherished by thirteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren as well as one sister Irene Hawrylak of Maple Creek, Saskatchewan. Funeral Services for the late Mr. Rex Andrew Martin will be held at the Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, 6287 - 67A Street, Red Deer on Monday, February 21, 2005 at 1:30 p.m. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to the Alberta Lung Association, PO BOX 4700 STN South, Edmonton, AB T6E 5G5 or to the charity of donor's choice.
