FERGUSON, Rhoda (nee Neis) September 8, 1920 ~ December 9, 2005 After a long and happy life, Mrs. Rhoda Johanna Ferguson (nee Neis) of Tees, Alberta passed away peacefully at the Bashaw Health Centre on Friday, December 9, 2005. Rhoda will always be remembered for her musical talents, and for the friendship she shared with all her family and friends. Rhoda will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her husband of 41 years, Vernon Ferguson; and by her children, Bette Jo (Ray) Drisdelle of St. Albert; and William Ferguson of Bashaw. The greatest joy in Rhoda’s life was her four granddaughters, Pati Lee (John Jr.) Floyd of Texas; Monique Drisdelle of Edmonton; Ginette (Andrew) Drisdelle of Calgary; and Nancy Drisdelle of Edmonton; as well as her great grandchildren, John III Floyd, Emily Floyd, and Shaun Drisdelle. She will also be lovingly remembered by her sisters-in-law, Bernice Neis of Red Deer; and Phyllis Fraser of Langley, B.C.; her brothers-in-law, Mel Boe of Abbotsford, B.C.; Robert (Jean) Ferguson of Lacombe; and Fraser (Ethel) Ferguson of Leduc; as well as many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Rhoda was predeceased by her first husband, William Stanley Ferguson; her sisters, Thelma Clarke and Lavona Switner; her brothers, Virgil Neis, Henry Neis and George Neis; and her nephew and niece, Bruce and Betty Clarke. The Family would like to express their sincere gratitude and appreciation to the staff of the Bashaw Health Centre for providing wonderful care to Rhoda while she was there, and loving support at the time of her passing. Funeral Services in Celebration of Rhoda’s Life will be held at the Tees Community Hall, Tees, Alberta on Thursday, December 15, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. with the Reverend Ted Wigglesworth officiating. Interment will follow in the Earlville Rutherford Cemetery, Tees.
