December 23, 1957 – April 8, 2021
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Mrs. Rhonda May Sailer of Bentley, Alberta at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre, Rimbey on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at the age of 63 years. Rhonda was born on December 23, 1957 in Grande Prairie, Alberta, to William and Bertha Dillabough.
Rhonda was raised on a farm near Bezanson. She attended Elementary School in Bezanson, attended Junior High in Sexsmith and High School in Grande Prairie. Rhonda met Brian Sailer in Junior High, and they were married in 1976. Rhonda worked at the Red Deer Court House; where she loved her job and made many friends. Rhonda loved to spend as much time as she could with family, especially her four grandchildren. Gull Lake was their favourite place to swim, she loved to travel with them and they enjoyed their time together on their Disney Cruise.
Rhonda (Nana) was one of the strongest people we know; no matter what she was going through she always lit up the room when she was in it. She had a one in a million personality, and a heart of gold. She has taught us that no matter what you are going through there is something positive in life to smile about.
Rhonda (Nana) has and will always hold a big place in our hearts, and will be missed so much. Rhonda was always happy and she will be deeply missed by all of us. She will be in our hearts and memories forever. Rhonda was a born again Christian and we know she is in heaven now.
Rhonda will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Brian; her sons, Derek and his wife, Laura and Courtney and her grandchildren, Johnny, Xavier, Natalie and Kaleb. Rhonda will also be sadly missed by her sister, Brenda and her niece, Amanda; as well as numerous family members and dear friends.
A Private Family Celebration of Rhonda’s Life will be held. For those unable to attend the Service, please visit our website at www.parklandfuneralhome.com on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 just prior to 2 pm and click on the Live Stream Button.
