Richard (Dick) Fredrick

Surrounded by his family Dick passed away peacefully on Monday, August 28th, just short of his 96th birthday. Dick was born in Lloydminster to Alice and Robert German. His career in the early days of the seismic industry took him across Canada, but Sylvan Lake was always home to him. Dick was a long-time resident of Sylvan Lake and enjoyed being active in the community. He was predeceased by his wife Betty (May 31, 2016) and his brother Bob. Dick is survived by his three daughters; Wanda (Cal), Wendy (Dan) and Shirley (Jim). Seven grandchildren; Jason, Tara, Sean, Courtney, Katie, April and Laura as well as six great grandchildren.
A Funeral service for Dick will be held at the Chapel of the Sylvan Lake Funeral Home, 5019 47a Ave, Sylvan Lake Alberta, on Saturday, September 2nd, 2017 at 12:00pm.
