KROGMAN Richard Martin "Dick" With our hearts full of wonderful memories, we announce the peaceful passing of our Husband, Dad, Grandpa and Uncle, Richard Martin "Dick" Krogman, on Friday, April 17th, 2009 at the age of 88 years. Dick is survived by his loving wife Mary; two sons: Stewart (Corinne), Al (Caroline); two daughters: Karen (Dennis) Costen, Nancy (Kevin) Mooney all of Red Deer County. His memory will be forever cherished by his nine ever loving grandchildren: Kelsey, Aaron, Joel (Mo), Vaughn, Victoria, Derek, Cheryl, Chris and Laurel. Dick's passing is also mourned by his brother Douglas (Gerry) of Calgary, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, sister-in-law, Ruth Stewart of Red Deer County and brother-in-law, Bill (Marilyn) of Calgary. Dick was predeceased by his parents Alma and Edward, brother, Kenneth and granddaughter Angela. Dad was raised on his parents homestead near Bindloss, AB. The family moved to the Spring Valley District near Lacombe in 1937, in 1942 then to the present family farm near Lynn Valley which Dick has farmed together with Mary since they married in 1952. Dad was an avid member of the Central Alberta Amateur Radio Club for many years and he worked for CHCA/CKRD Television for over 20 years as a technician, bringing in color TV and video tape systems. Dick and Mary volunteered for many years together at the Poplar Ridge Community Centre. Dad loved his home on the farm, his loving family, his "Dogger" Patrick and his grandkids. He was a dedicated husband and father who enjoyed golf, curling, and baseball. Dad was a man of faith, who has gone home to his faithful Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, which brings us great comfort and joy.
