It is with great sadness and regret that we announce the sudden passing of Robert Arthur Gray on March 30, 2024, at the age of 92 years. Bob was born in Dauphin Manitoba on November 21, 1931.
Bob was predeceased by his wife Rita in 2009, his sister and brother-in-law Bernice and Sam Warner and his sister and brother-in-law Joan and Don McLaren.
Bob will be lovingly remembered by his two daughters, Maureen Gray of St. Albert and Erin (John) MacDonald of Red Deer, two grandsons, Alexander (Michelle) and Harrison (Victoria) of Edmonton and a brother, Bill (Barb) of Richmond BC and many nieces, nephews and family friends.
Bob was a Master Electrician and with Rita owned and operated Robert Gray Electric for 19 years, retiring in 1990. Bob devoted a good portion of his time volunteering; Cub Scout Leader 3yrs, Red Deer Catholic School Board 8yrs, Red Deer College Board of Governors 6yrs, Red Deer Youth Justice 9yrs, Red Deer Kiwanis 29yrs, Red Deer Twilight Homes 25yrs and Red Deer Christmas Bureau 3yrs.
A Memorial Service will be held at Red Deer Funeral Home (6150 67 Street, Red Deer), on Tuesday, April 9, at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to the Alzheimer's Society for Research. T
