Robert (Bob)
Robert Ernest Green of Mirror passed away peacefully on October 28, 2009 at age 68 in Lacombe Hospital. Bob is survived by his mother Marie Green (Ken Thomas) of Dysart, Saskatchewan, children Rodger and Karea Green of Helena, Montana, Dale and Emily Green of Ponoka, Kimberly and Mike Moxness of Withrow, four grandchildren Katie, Aly, Garnett and Miranda; sister Patti Green of New Serepta, niece Lynn and nephew Daryl and numerous cousins and friends. Bob was predeceased by his father Ralph Green. Bob was born in Lethbridge, Alberta on April 24, 1941. Bobby was raised in the Taber and Rocky Mountain House areas. As an adult he primarily lived in Alix, Alberta. Bob enjoyed fishing, camping and auction sales. Bob was a truck driver throughout his life. He enjoyed trucking and was good at it. Bob will truly be missed. Funeral Services for Robert Green were held at the Alix Lions Hall in Alix, Alberta on Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at 2:00 pm. Pastor Gordon Schmidt officiated. Interment was at the Alix Cemetery. A reception followed at the Lions Hall.
