Martin, Robert (Bob) passed-away suddenly Monday, November 16, 2020 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by his wife Jean and survived by his daughters Beth Coumont (Brian) and Kathleen (Kathy) Martin, grandsons R. Jason Martin and Richard Coumont (Melissa), grandchildren Max and Summer Coumont and his extended family of Michael, Andrea, Kiara and Ahrella Brack.
Dad was a 'sheet metal man' and took great pride in the many projects he worked on throughout western Canada. He recently received his 50 year pin as a member of the Sheet Metal Workers' International Association Local 8 and served on the board for many years.
Throughout his life Bob loved the outdoors and took great pride in his retirement job at Outwest Camping south of Rocky in the wilderness areas he loved. When 'in town' Bob looked forward to coffee with his buddies at A&W. Dad was fortunate to have a great group of friends. As his family we want to say thanks, you were good to him and to us too.
Once we can gather safely again, we will plan a celebration of life and invite you to join us. We'll have time to tell some stories, laugh and express our gratitude for the way you've all shared life with Bob.
