Robert "Bob" Cooke of Gull Lake, AB was born in Rimbey, AB on September 13, 1937 and passed away at Lacombe, AB on Wednesday, December 12, 2018.
He was educated in Rimbey. Bob owned R. C. Cooke Management for many years and in 1985 he and his wife purchased the Rimbey Record. He was a member of the Kitchener Lodge in Rimbey as well as the Scottish Rite in Lacombe.
He was predeceased by his father, Charles and his mother, Etta.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Helen; sister, Margaret Ann Henry of Langley B.C.; nephew Chris Henry, and niece Lisa Miller; and four great nephews also of B.C.; numerous cousins, the Kenney family, and many dear friends.
At Bob's request there will be no service, interment will be held at the Mount Auburn Cemetery in Rimbey at a later date. Anyone wishing to can make memorial donations to the Lacombe Palliative Care Society, PO Box 5576, Lacombe AB T4L 1X2.
