HUFF Robert Charles 1950 - 2009 With great sadness the family of Bob Huff announces his passing on Sunday, August 9, 2009 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Center. Bob was born on October 15, 1950 in Regina, Saskatchewan; and grew up in Calgary. He worked as an electrician before joining the staff of Red Deer Overdoor, where he was a valued employee for over 25 years. Bob's love of nature and the outdoors, as well as his love for animals, led him on many adventures during his camping and canoeing years. His happiest times were spent hiking and exploring, photographing everything in sight, and sitting around a campfire at the end of the day. He will be remembered by all who knew him for his ready smile and his keen sense of humor. We look forward to meeting again - "Somewhere Down the Lazy River." Left to cherish Bob's memory are his loving wife Jeanette (Jenny), his mother, Helen Huff (Calgary), one sister, Leslie Crawford (Ponoka), nieces Shawna Laird (Airdrie), Terri (Curtis) Kimler and children; nephew Cody Crawford; also two sons from his first marriage Jason and Curtis, as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Blake Huff in 1997. Bob will also be dearly missed by his beloved shop cats "Killer" and "Angel". A Celebration of Bob's Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #35, Red Deer, at a time and date to be announced.
