Robert Raymond William
Robert (Bob) passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 21, 2014. He will be missed by Myrtle, his loving wife of 56 years; his daughter, Cheryl (Darcy) Webb; his son, Curtis (Deb) Cundy; and his grandchildren, Ryan Webb, Kaylee Webb, and Garrett Cundy. Bob was predeceased by his father and mother, William and Ethel Cundy. Bob was proud to be a land use planner and worked as the Director of the Red Deer Regional Planning Commission for most of his 33 years with the Commission. He was devoted to Red Deer and led a number of projects important to the City, one being the relocation of the railway from what is now Taylor Drive. Following his retirement from the Commission, Bob served as a member of the Alberta Planning Board for the Province from 1989 - 1995. At Bob's request, there will be no formal memorial service.
