Roberto Paolinelli was born November 6, 1921 in Lucca, Italy and passed away peacefully with family members by his side on Tuesday October 27, 2009 in Red Deer, AB. In 1951 he immigrated to Canada, bringing his family over to join him in 1953, settling in Prince Rupert, BC. Roberto is survived by three sons and three daughters: Adolfo (Margaret), Joe (Valerie), Renzo (Corrine), Roberta (Tim) Alder, Linda (Brian) Kinney, Joanne (Laurie) Grantham, and nineteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and numerous family and close friends. He is predeceased by his loving wife Emma, sons Mario and Carlo, and grandson Adolfo. Friends are invited to join family for the memorial service at Eventide Funeral Chapel, 4820 45 Street. (403-347-2222) on Friday October 30, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. and are welcome to stay for reception following service.
