RODDIS, 1933 - 2006 Mr. James Murray Roddis passed away at the Foothills Hospital, Calgary, Alberta on Sunday, November 5, 2006 at the age of 73 years. James was born on March 23, 1933 at Edmonton, Alberta and grew up in Sedgewick, Alberta. James had a distinguished career with the Bank of Montreal, spanning forty-eight years. His career took him to many locations in Alberta, finally settling in Red Deer in 1988. James was a much loved and admired husband, father, grandfather, co-worker and church leader. He touched many people throughout his life and had a positive influence on all those who knew him. He was known to all as a man with a big heart, especially for children and young people. James leaves to honor his life, his loving wife of fifty years, Iris, his daughter, Wendy and her husband, John Arnold of Lethbridge, Alberta, son, Murray and his wife, Helen of Red Deer, grandsons, Scott Arnold of Delta, Alaska and Michael Arnold and his wife, Victoria of Calgary, Alberta. Funeral Services will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapel, 4820 - 45th Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Friday, November 10, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Alto-Reste Cemetery, Red Deer, Alberta.
