Rodney "Ardelle" Lane, born June 10, 1938, passed away on September 12, 2021, after a long, courageous battle with cancer at the age of 83.
Dad was predeceased by Mom, Lorrie, his parents Robert and Lillian Lane and siblings Marlene, Dennis and Karen.
He is survived by his loving children Shelley and Rick Priebe, Robin and Cindy Lane, Patti and Kirk Graham, and adoring grandchildren Phannary, Davmaney, Bunya, Jaenjira, Alyssa and Zachary. He is also survived by his caring sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law and multiple adoring nieces and nephews.
Words cannot express our family's immense appreciation for the love, kindness and support given to Dad and all of us by Dr. Morne Odendaal and all staff during his last days at Red Deer Hospice Society.
A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date at the Westlock Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Dad's memory, if so desired to: Red Deer Hospice Society 99 Arnot Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta, T4R 3S6.
