GILLETT Rodney Everett "Rod" "He's Going Home" It is with great sadness that the family of Rodney Everett Gillett "Rod" announce his passing at Red Deer Regional Hospital on Wednesday March 4, 2009 at the age of 54 years. Rod will be lovingly remembered by his loving spouse Margaret and his beloved dog Mika. He will also be sadly missed by his mother Mildred; stepfather Neil Olsen; son Chad (Toni) of Fairview; and daughter Katlin of Peace River; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Rod also leaves to mourn his passing; 5 brothers, Doug (Ann) of Fairview; Gerald (Sylvia) of Red Deer; Kent (Cindy) of Red Deer; Darwin (Kathleen) of Sylvan Lake; Laverne (Gwen) of Lacombe as well as numerous nieces and nephews,and his many good friends. Rod was predeceased by his father Everett in 2003 and his daughter Trista in 1979. A Graveside Service for the late Rodney Everett Gillett will be held on Tuesday March 10, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at the Waterhole Cemetery, Fairview Alberta.
