BAKER Ronald (Ron) Albert It is with much sadness that on Sunday, October 18, 2009 Mr. Ronald (Ron) Albert Baker of Sylvan Lake passed away suddenly at home at the age of seventy-five years. Left to mourn his passing are his loving wife of 51 years Flora; his sons Donald (Dianne), David (Bonnie), Doug (Terry) and Bert (Leigh); He is also survived by his thirteen grandchildren Robin, Chris (Jacquie), Adam (Jordana), Amanda, Ian, Kelly, Lori (Allen), Abbi, Keith, Zane, Grace, True and Nash; and two great grandchildren Ethan and Rachel. Also left to mourn are his two brothers Lenord and Alan (Dawn) his two sisters Irene (Pete) and Ellen (Vince) and one sister-in-law Jean (Paul) as well as many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Within the community Ron will be missed in his passions for curling, golf at the Sylvan Lake Golf and Country club, choir and church fellowship at Memorial Presbyterian, afternoon coffee hour at A&W and the many other community events that Ron was a part of. Funeral Service for the late Mr. Ron Baker will be held at the Memorial Presbyterian Church in Sylvan Lake on Friday, October 23, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Jin Woo Kim officiating. Inurnment in the Sylvan Lake Cemetery. Cremation entrusted to the Rocky Mountain Crematorium.
