DUCKWORTH Ronald Duckworth of Alhambra passed away on December 10, 2007 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital at the age of 73 years. He was born on June 15, 1934 in Bury, England, he and his wife moved to Toronto in 1960 and later moved to Central Alberta in 1980. Ron is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Barbara, his children, Michael and Maureen Duckworth of Red Deer, Karen and Ian Henry of Caroline and Kelly and Rick Muncaster of Rimbey; his grandchildren Tyler, Tabitha, Stephen, Justin, Emma, Amanda, Jesse, Matthew and Ranelle; great grandchildren, Aftyn, Crimzynn and Abigail. Ron was predeceased by his parents, 3 brothers and 2 sisters and one grandson, Robert Duckworth. A service to celebrate Ron's life will be held at the Alhambra Community Centre on Saturday, December 15, 2007 at 2:00 pm. Contributions may be made in Ron's name to the Canadian Cancer Society.
