With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Ronald Grant McCullough, at the age of 92. Born in Lacombe, Alberta, a graduate of the University of Alberta (BSc Ag, 1954) and Ivey Business School (MBA, 1960), Ron's career spanned farm radio reporting, public service as a Red Deer Alderman, two time president of the Westerner Exposition Park, Director General of DREE, and raising purebred Angus cattle.

Ron was a dedicated Rotarian and philanthropist who established the Lilian McCullough Chair in Breast Cancer Research at the U of A Faculty of Medicine after the passing of his first wife. He was also a strong supporter of the Faculty of ALES, contributing to various funds.

Ron is lovingly remembered by wife Brenda; children Lynn, Alan (Teresa), Karen (Jim); stepchildren Robbie (Ashley) and Julia (Liam); 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Dayspring Presbyterian Church, 11445 - 40 Avenue NW, Edmonton.
