It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Ronald James 'Ron' Griffiths of Sylvan Lake, Alberta, after a long battle with cancer, at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Monday, September 21, 2020 at the age of 69 years.
Ron was born in Ponoka, Alberta on May 28, 1951, to Walter James and Lila Irene Griffiths.
Ron will be lovingly remembered by his sister, Bonnie Cundy; his four nieces and nephews, Theresa Howell, Michael Howell (Brian Langton), Patrick Howell and Tanya (Murray) Christie, and his great nieces and nephews
He will also be sadly missed by several wonderful aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. Ron was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Lila Griffiths.
A Celebration of Ron's Life will be held at a later date. Cremation entrusted to Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta. If desired, Memorial Donations in Ron's honor may be made directly to the Canadian Cancer Society at www.cancer.ca.
