Mr. Rong Gun Liang, beloved husband of Mrs. Qin Ying Tan of Red Deer, Alberta passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Nursing Home, Red Deer, Alberta on Thursday, November 26, 2009 at the age of 78 years. Rong was born January 11, 1931 in Toishon, China and came to Canada in 1997. Besides his loving wife, Qin Ying Tan he is survived by his two loving sons, Ben and his wife Shirley of Red Deer, Alberta and Xiong Wen and his wife Yan Li of Edmonton, Alberta as well as a daughter, Hong Yan and her husband Lu Xue Eian of Toishon, China, along with four grandsons and a granddaughter. Rong is also survived by a sister, Moon Mah of Red Deer, Alberta, and an older brother in Toishon, China, along with several other relatives in Canada and China. Relatives and friends are welcome to come and pay their respects at EVENTIDE FUNERAL CHAPEL on Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. A funeral service in Mr. Liang's memory will be held at EVENTIDE FUNERAL CHAPEL on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor John King officiating.
