Rosie Jewell (nee Anna Rose Craig) was born in Rocky Mountain House on August 11, 1945 to Donald Craig and Dorothy (Hall) Craig. She was raised in Caroline and has lived in Pine Lake for many years.
Rosie is predeceased by her parents, Donald and Dorothy Craig, and her brothers-in-law, Daniel Jewell of California, Bud Jewell (Ellen) from Elnora, and Bob Jewell (Doreen) from Delburne. She is also predeceased by nephews Delbert Roy and Bill Jewell, and great-nephews Jerry Jewell and Joey Jewell.
She is survived by her loving husband, Donald Jewell of Pine Lake; her three devoted sisters: Irene Pace, Margaret VanVeller (Klaas), and Donna Miller (Rene Jasper); as well as two loving neices and one nephew: Jocelyn Littlefair (Kevin), Pam Pace (Les Ellingson), and Mark Miller. She is also survived by her great-neices and great-nephews.
The celebration of Rosie's life will take place at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 14th, 2020 at the Salvation Army Pine Lake Camp Chapel at 25032 South Pine Lake Road, Red Deer County.
In lieu of flowers, the family gratefully requests donations to be made in Rosie's name to the Red Deer Hospice Society or to the Salvation Army.
