HUSTON Roy Platt (Bud) March 24, 1930 Roy passed away November 17, 2007 after a long battle with cancer. His son Matt, long friend Rita, stepson Mike (Carol) at his side. Roy was born to Floyd and Nora on the home place. He was predeceased by his parents, eldest son Roy Jr., brother Burt, and brother-in-law Bill Whitnack. Roy leaves to mourn, his son Matt, stepchildren Brad, Mike, Tracy, brother Don (Betty), sister Vera and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family extends sincere thanks to the staff and Doctors at the Red Deer Hospital. In honoring Bud's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. Donations can be made to S.T.A.R.S or Red Deer Regional Hospital.
