In Loving Memory of
ROY LESLIE BROWN
1925 - 2017
Mr. Roy Brown of the Pine Lake district passed away at the Innisfail Rosefield Care Centre on June 25, 2017 at the age of 91 years. Roy was born and raised in the Pine Lake area and being the youngest of four boys, he remained on the family farm to help his parents Arthur and Cybbie. Roy married Marion Dallaire and together they kept the family farm operating and raising their children until retiring to Red Deer. After Marion passed away Roy moved to the Country Manor in Innisfail.
Roy's family will treasure the memories of life on the farm which is now operated by his son Doug Brown.
He will be sadly missed by son: Doug of Pine Lake, daughter: Debra (Harry) Tensen of Edgewood, British Columbia and son in law Alan Simms of Bowden, Alberta and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Roy was predeceased by his loving wife Marion of 61 years and his daughter Marjorie Simms.
A Celebration of Life will take place at the Pine Lake Hub Community Center on July 14, 2017 at 11 a.m.
If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
