Ruth Cheek

In loving memory ~
It is with much sadness the family of Ruth Cheek announces her peaceful passing with her family by her side.
Ruth will be lovingly remembered by her children Randy Armstrong (Wanda), and Leanne Christensen (Mel), and her cherished grandchildren Colin (Sheri), Blair (Allison), Monica (Cam), Lisa and Rory. Her beloved great-grandchildren Oliver, Aiden, Nate, Penny, Reid, Adelyn and Aubryn. She is also survived by her sister Marilyn Roberts, sister-in-law Freda Cheek, many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Ruth`s community of Elnora was a very important part of her life, and she was involved in numerous clubs and charities. She enjoyed curling, a good game of cards or dominoes, singing in the church choir and watching her beloved Flames. We would like to also thank the ICU nurses at the Red Deer Hospital for the amazing care she received in her final days.
A celebration of Ruth`s life will be held on Saturday, December 10th at 2:00 p.m. in the Elnora Community Hall. If desired, memorial donations can be made to Elnora Agricultural Society. Kneehill Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.
