Ruth KLOSS

KLOSS Ruth Kloss (nee Soroko) of Lacombe, passed away peacefully at the Lacombe Hospital on August 26, 2004 at the age of 73. Ruth was born April 17, 1931 in Lampman, Saskatchewan. Ruth spent most of her adult life in Alberta and was known for her great love of cooking, which over the years saw her owning and operating 3 rest-aurants. The highlight of her career though, was cooking for Our Lady of Victory Camp, Gull Lake for many summers. She will be greatly missed by her children Kelvin (Phyllis) Kloss of Red Deer, Bonnie (Larry) Graham of Lacombe, Sharon (Robert) Guimond of Connecticut, Kelly (Connie) Kloss of Red Deer, their father Henry Kloss of Red Deer, and Ruth's brothers Ernie Soroko of Saskatchewan and Ronald Soroko of Florida. She was also loved by her many grandchildren Kyle Kloss, Kyla (Shawn) Abel, Kendall (Kari) Kloss, Carla Graham, Josh (Carmen) Graham, Patti Duncalf, Lisa Cosgrove, Randy Kloss, Riley Kloss, and Cory Kloss, as well as numerous great grand-children. A celebration of her life and a Mass will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 2, 2004 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, 5128 - 53 St. Lacombe. Ruth will be interned at the Fairview Cemetery, Lacombe. If desired memorial tributes may be made to the Lacombe Hospital.
