LARSON Ruth Larson of Ponoka, formerly of Camrose, passed away on May 23, 2006 at Northcott Care Centre in Ponoka at the age of 93 years. Ruth’s family moved to Red Deer in September of 1968. Ruth immediately became very involved in community activities including the curling club and the golf club. She had made many friends through various educational and social activities including playing bridge, serving community organizations and traveling. She lived in Red Deer until her health began to fail in 1996. At this point she wished to move to the Northcott Care Center in Ponoka. The family wishes to thank the caring and professional staff at Northcott Care Center for their loving treatment of Ruth and her sister Bernice over many years. Ruth is survived by her son Bob Larson of Sherwood Park; her sister-in-law Mona Price of Calgary; and three nephews, David and Peter Price, and Peter Bayko. She was predeceased by her husband Howard; two brothers, Frank and David Price; and one sister, Bernice Bayko. A private graveside service will be held on Friday, May 26, 2006 at 10:30p.m. from the Camrose Valleyview Cemetery.
