Ruth Seibel

In loving memory ~
"Grandma" Ruth Seibel was promoted to her new home in glory with Jesus on Tuesday, June 27, 2023. She passed away peacefully with her family by her side.
She is lovingly remembered by her siblings, James Lantz, Mary Seibel, and Eva Bews; husband, Richard; children, Marilyn (Dana) Tapley, Ricky (Shannon), Anita Bessette, Teresa (Tim), Edward (Diane), and James; as well as 20 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents, Peter & Alta Lantz; siblings, David, John, Joseph, Stephen, and Paul; and great-grandchildren, Alex and Brooke.
Ruth was an avid guitarist, singer, and cake decorator. She loved playing gospel music and is known by many for her time singing with gospel groups like Jordan Echoes, Generations and the Tapleys.
She will be truly missed by all that knew and loved her. Many thanks to the wonderful staff of the Innisfail Health Centre and the Red Deer Hospice.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Patterson Community Hall, 2101 27 Ave., Bowden, AB on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Herb Taylor presiding.
