Mrs. Ruth Werner passed away peacefully, with her family nearby, at Villa Marie, Red Deer, Alberta on Friday, February 14, 2020 at the age of 85 years. Ruth will be lovingly remembered by her children, Marilyn (Leo), Donna, Joan (John), Kevin (Donna) and Bradley (Karen); as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Our Mum was predeceased by the love of her life, Sig Werner, in 2001.
A Celebration of Ruth's Life will be held at Parkland Funeral Home, 6287 - 67A Street (Taylor Drive), Red Deer, Alberta on Friday, March 27, 2020 at 1:00 pm. If desired, in place of flowers, Memorial Donations in Ruth's honor may be made directly to the Alzheimer Society of Canada at www.alzheimer.ca or to the CNIB Foundation at www.cnib.ca.
