SALAMANDICK Mr. Harold Joseph Salamandick of Red Deer passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on October 26th, 2006 at the age of 66 years. Harold was born and raised in Lacombe and after entering the banking industry he moved to Olds where he met and married Jeanette. For the next 35 years Harold worked for Scotiabank in various locations in Alberta. After taking early retirement in 1995 he and Jeanette lived a full life of travelling and spending time with their many friends. Due to illness they returned and settled in Red Deer in 2002. Harold will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Jeanette and his children, Lisa (Edmonton) and Stephen (Penticton). He will also be sadly missed by his mother Lena of Lacombe, his brother, Lawrence (Judy) of Edmonton, his sisters; Joanne Brackenbury of Lacombe, Doreen (Craig) Flewelling of Bowden, as well as his brother-in-law, Ron (Deb) of Sundre. His memory will also be cherished by his numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A Celebration of his life will be held from the Chapel of Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, 6287-67 A Street, Red Deer, Alberta at 1 p.m. on Monday, October 30th, 2006.
