SAMSON March 2, 1918 - April 5, 2006 Mr. Lawrence John Samson of Lacombe passed away peacefully on April 5, 2006 at the age of 88 years. He will be sadly missed by his son and daughters Loris Samson of Lacombe, Lorna (Ken) Heikkila of Calgary, John (Karen) Samson of Lacombe and his grandson Adam Heikkila of Calgary. He is also survived by his brother Laverne (Kay) Samson of Coshin, Sask. and his sister Margaret Froment of Kelowna, BC. Larry was predeceased by his wife Dorothy whom he loved dearly. He was a dedicated family man who made his living in the automobile industry. Larry owned several businesses and made many friends on life's journey. His retirement years were filled with love for gardening and fine wine making. He proudly served his country in the Canadian Navy and loved to share his stories of his adventures. He will be sadly missed by family and friends. Funeral services will be held from Wilson's Funeral Chapel Lacombe on Tuesday April 11, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. Cremation entrusted to Central Alberta Crematorium.
