SANTEE, Ernest 1931 - 2009 It is with great sadness that the family of Ernie Santee announces his passing. Ernie passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on July 10, 2009 at the age of 78 years at Ponoka. He is survived by June, his loving wife of 58 years; his daughters Glynis Santee (Rod Whitman), Dawn Santee (Chad Peterson), Pat Santee (Craig Hiitola); his son Rick (Marie Whitecotton); grandchildren Dana, Charmaine, Cody, Christopher (Jolene), Sarah, Mark, Mitch, Craig, and Jeanine; great-grandchildren Caylyn, Savanah, Anika, Shaelee and Blake; sister Bertha Courser and brother Vernon. Ernie was predeceased by an infant son Mark Ernest, his parents Oron and Edith, his sister Ramona and infant grandson Patrick. Our thanks go out to the very caring staff of the Northcott Care Center where Ernie resided for the past two years. A Service of Remembrance will be held on July 24, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church. Lunch will follow at the Royal Canadian Legion, Ponoka Branch following the Service.
