October 21, 1926 - February 19, 2020
On February 19, 2020 Sarah Bunch (nee Freadrich) of Red Deer passed away peacefully at the age of 93 years. Survived by her daughter, Bernice (Mark) of Parksville, and two sons Ken (Donna) of Olds and David (Lisa) of Bashaw, 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Predeceased by her husband Norman, 1 sister Emma, and 5 brothers Bill, Emil, Walter, Raymond and David.
Sarah was born on Oct.21, 1926 in Forestburg and this is where she was raised. She went to Business College in Stettler and from there found work in a government office in Red Deer where she worked for several years. She married Norman on May 27, 1950 and focused on family for several years. She later returned to work and started at Valley Park Nursing Home. Once Norman retired they lived in Kelowna briefly and spent time in Mesa, Arizona before returning to Red Deer. Sarah spent her last years at Bethany Collegeside.
