It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Sarah ("Sally") Elizabeth Rangen on November 10, 2019, at the age of 87. She was born an only child to the late Rose and Jonty Cummings in Rimbey, AB on Dec. 2, 1931. Her mates were her dogs, school pony and champion 4H short-horn cattle. While working for CIBC in Eckville she met Henry and they married in 1957. They enjoyed firefighter hose-coupling and curling together. She volunteered with Girl Guides of Canada for 15 years and bowled in a Ladies' League for 18 years. She was an avid dancer as a member of the Central Alberta Dance Club, Legion and Golden Circle.
Sally enjoyed camping plus travelling abroad with her family and friends. Sally had her Mom's green thumb surrounded by blooms and vegetables. A consummate mother and homemaker, she was known for her baking, canning, knitting and sewing. She doted on her family pets plus grand-dogs, -kitties and -horses. She was immensely proud of her family and leaves nothing behind except beautiful memories.
Sally will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 62 years, Henry and her daughters, Kathy Cummins, Sheila Rangen (Stephen Leach) and Cheryl Rangen. Extended family and dear friends forever will remember her kind heart and selfless ways.
