Sarah Victoria Meyette

After a lengthy battle with illness, Sarah Meyette passed away on May 3, 2019 at the age of 42 years. She was the loved mother of Miranda, daughter of Paul and Lyndal and sister to Rachel (Kelly) and aunt to Rebecca and Rhett.
Sarah had an amazing life and was active at a young age in theatre, dance, films, music, swimming and biking. She excelled at each endeavor that she undertook; she graduated with a Degree in Communications from Mount Royal. Her career interests took her to Edmonton, Calgary, China and finally back to Red Deer. She always had a love of travel from an early age and travelled frequently including Australia, New Zealand, Europe and throughout North America. Her smile could light up a room and her drive inspired many friends and colleagues. She will be missed by all who knew her well.
We would like to thank Sarah's friends for their support while she was in the hospital; you made her laugh and forget her troubles for a while. Thanks also to the doctors and nurses in ICU at Red Deer Regional Hospital for your dedication to helping Sarah cope with her illness. Our family will always be deeply grateful.
A memorial service and celebration of Sarah's life will be held on May 18, 2019 at 11:00 am at Red Deer Funeral Home and Crematorium, 6150- 67th Street Red Deer, AB. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation the Red Deer Regional Hospital Foundation.
