SARAH "SALLY" ANN FRY 1916 ~ 2005 Sally passed away peacefully on April 24, 2005 at the age of 88 at the foothills Hospital. Her final day was spent surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her son, Jim (Diane) Fry; daughter, Sonnia (Henry) Larocque; and brother, Nesbitt Nelson. Sally was particularly proud of her grandchildren, Kelly, Dean, Cory, Stacy and Kary; great grandchildren, Eowyn, Keifer, Nathan and Mathew. Sally was born in Red Deer on June 1, 1916 to railroad engineer, Charles Nelson and his wife Alice. Sally married George Lawson "Sonny" Fry on July 10, 1939. She spent most of her years living between the cities of Red Deer and Calgary. Her last years of work were with the Red Deer Nursing Home from which she retired in 1981. She moved to Calgary in 1997, taking up residency at the Spruce Lodge. We thank her special friend from the lodge, Kaye McDonald, for the love and friendship they shared. A Celebration of Sally's life will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home.
