SCHRAUWEN 1951- 2008 Mr. Arthur "Art" Peter Schrauwen passed away suddenly on Thursday, January 3, 2008 at the age of 56 years. Art was born on November 10, 1951 in Kamloops, British Columbia. He then moved to Bashaw in 1966 and Red Deer in 1984. Art is survived by his wife of 33 years, Denise Schrauwen, the love of his life, three daughters, Tamara (Ronny) Reid of Airdrie, Jennifer (Jason) Schneider of Innisfail, Christina Schrauwen of Calgary, three granddaughters, Halle, Ashlee and Carlee, who were the light of his life. He is also survived by his mother, Blanche Schrauwen, a brother George (Sharon) Schrauwen, two sisters, Judy (Ray) Heidt, Deanna (Russell) Schultz and his many treasured nieces and nephews. Art was predeceased by his father, Peter and a brother Stan. A Funeral Service will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapels, 4820-45 Street, Red Deer on Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Bashaw Cemetery.
