It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Scott Fitzgerald at the age of 37 years. He is survived by his parents Holly and Jack and one brother John. Besides his immediate family, he leaves to mourn numerous aunts uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins back home in NFLD and numerous friends in Central Alberta. Scott was born in St. John's, NFLD and came to Central Alberta when he was nine years old. He enjoyed fishing, ping pong and pool. He was a star football player until he suffered a back injury, and excelled as a BMX rider winning numerous races. He loved the outdoors, rap music and the old music from home. He loved his family deeply and held a special bond with his Mom. Scott had a big heart and was always there to help others. He will be deeply missed. A service of Remembrance will be held on Tuesday, January 17 at 1 p.m. at Parkland Funeral Home, 6287 - 67A Street, Red Deer, AB T4P 3V9 (403-340-4040).
