NIELSEN, Selma Selma Nielsen of Red Deer passed away at the Red Deer Nursing Home on Monday, October 11, 2004 at the age of 90 years. Selma was very active within the Trinity Lutheran Church, she loved the lord. She was also very close with her family and loved them dearly. Selma will be lovingly remembered by her three sons; Rodney (June) of Paradise Hill, Saskatchewan, Larry (Joann) of Morrin, Melvin (Fran) of Sundre, two daughters; Ann (Ron) of Edmonton, Jeanette (Pat) of Calmar, three brothers; Peter of Shelbrooke, Saskatchewan, Herman (Lois) of Ordale, Saskatchewan, Ernest (Margaret) of Kelowna, British Columbia, one brother-in-law, Walter Baun of Shell Lake, Saskatchewan, one sister-in-law, Margaret Skavelbo of Prince George, British Columbia, fourteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Selma was predeceased by her husband, Walter, in 1997, her parents and four siblings. Those wishing to pay their respects to Selma Nielsen may do so at the Trinity Christian Fellowship Church (4346 – 39 Street) on Friday, October 15, 2004 between 12:00 p.m. and 12:50 p.m. Funeral Services will take place at the Trinity Christian Fellowship Church (4346 – 39 Street) on Friday, October 15, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Westhaven Cemetery, Rimbey. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Selma Nielsen may do so to the Red Deer Nursing Home (4736 – 30 Street, Red Deer, Alberta, T4N 5H8) or to the Charity of your choice.
