Shadbolt George 1928-2009 George Shadbolt of Red Deer, AB., loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend passed away on September 27, 2009 at the age of 81 years after a short battle with lung cancer. Predeceased by his wife, Audrey on October 25, 1995. George is survived by his brothers Don and Ev, Walter and Ev, his children Janet Jackson and son Tyrel of Red Deer, Kim (Vance) Lucas of Fort St. John and their daughters, Christine (Jeff) Bates, Beth Lucas, great grandchildren Bridget and Sydney of Calgary, Patricia (Lawson) Hutchinson of Blackfalds, their children, Kyle (Suzanne) Puffer Calgary, Graham Puffer, Rob (Kelly) Hutchinson, Patricia (Steven) Versluis, Richard Hutchinson, Andrew Hutchinson, great grandchildren, Zackary Versluis, Brody Versluis, Brooke Hutchinson, Tyler Hutchinson, his sunshine boy, Art (Cindy) Shadbolt their children, Avarie and Christopher, special friend Nancey McAllister and extended family and dear friends. A celebration of George’s life will be held at Sunnybrook United Church on Friday October 2, 2009 at 11:00 a.m.
