SHARHAN, 1943 - 2006 Alexander Michael "Sandy" Sharhan passed away peacefully at his home in Red Deer, Alberta on Tuesday, November 14, 2006 at the age of 63 years. Born in Lethbridge, Alberta on September 28, 1943, Sandy grew up in Calgary attending St. Mary's High School. He later pursued a Diploma in Merchandising Administration from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. Sandy began his career with Westinghouse of Canada which later transferred him to Red Deer in the late 1970's where he assumed a leadership role within the company. Red Deer would remain his home long after retirement. Sandy will be fondly remembered by friends and family alike for his joy of entertaining, his passion for cooking and gardening, and his love for travel and photography. He will be missed for his sharp wit and great sense of humor. Sandy is the beloved father of Lee-Ann Sharhan of Calgary, Lana (Timothy) Skeet of Calgary, and Jason (Deborah) Sharhan of Red Deer. He is the grandfather to Rebecca and Jacob Tedrick and Sarah Sharhan. Sandy is survived by Trudy Hill, the mother of his children, and his sister, Connie Browne of Fort Worth, Texas, USA. He is predeceased by his parents Stella Sharhan (1992) and Steve Sharhan (1993). A Public Celebration of Sandy's Life will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapel, 4820 - 45th Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Monday, November 20, 2006 at 1:00 p.m . Cremation entrusted to the Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta.
