Shirley passed away Sunday, October 18, 2009 at the Three Hills Hospital, with her family by her side, after a brave fight against her cancer. Shirley leaves behind her husband Burleigh, daughters Dixie (Russell) Erickson, Kim Kober and her fiancee Ryan Fraser and grandchildren Lucas and Alicia Erickson as well as sisters Lorraine (Terry) Bugajski of Calgary, Linda Jorgensen of Three Hills and brother Ron Jorgensen of Calgary; nieces Carrie (Terry) Baker, Lisa (Cory) Bolt and nephew Sheldon Bugajski and a great-niece and three great-nephews. Shirley was predeceased by her son Tracy in 1985, her mother Ada in 1991 and her father Ben in 1997. Shirley will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at 2 pm. at the Trochu Community Hall. Services by Pastor Larry Lentz. Arrangements made by Prairie Winds Funeral Home, Trochu. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
