SHWED, 1948 – 2006 Mr. Lester S. Shwed of Red Deer, passed away at the Red Deer Hospice on Monday, September 4, 2006 at the age of 58 years young. Les was best known for his honesty, generosity, reliability and impeccable work habits. He was a man with high morals that cared a great deal for his family and will sadly be missed by all who knew him. Les is survived by his mother, Mary Jorgensen, his brothers, Larry and Leonard and their families, his sisters, Lois and Loraine and their families. Les is also survived by his daughter, Lisa and her husband Shaune Weisenburger and his granddaughter, Valorie Brooke and his ex-wife, Marie Bouchard. A Memorial and Celebration of Lester's Life will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Kentwood, 20 Kovak Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Saturday, September 9, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. Following the Memorial Service all are cordially invited to a luncheon which will be held at Schlumberger Wireline-Open Hole Services, 8156 Edgar Industrial Close, Red Deer. If desired, donations in Les' Honour may be made directly to Red Deer Kentwood, Kingdom Hall, Local Congregation. Cremation entrusted to the Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer.
