SNIHUR October 7, 1966 - June 22, 2008 Anna Rose Snihur of Red Deer passed away at the Royal Alexander Hospital (CCU) in Edmonton on June 22, 2008 at the age of 41 years. Anna was born on October 7, 1966 in the Red Deer Regional Hospital. She was the youngest of eight siblings and grew up learning the ways with her brothers and sisters. She graduated High School in 1984 and started working on her career in Red Deer. She had her first child, Lee, at the age of 19 and continued to work hard and raise her son with the support of her family; with great success. When her son was seven years old, Anna went to college to better her and Lee's life, while still working full time. One year later, while in college and working, Anna met Jim and soon fell in love and they became a family of three. Anna graduated from the Red Deer College with her Business Diploma and went out and got a better job. A year later, Jim and Anna got engaged at Jim's mom's house. (Jim's mom wouldn't stop asking questions.) Another year later: “SURPRISE”, along comes Cassidy and Courtney: AKA: Duracell and Energizer. No more sleep for Anna and Jim. Together they tried, tripped, and tried some more to raise their family. In 2004, Anna was diagnosed with M.S. then, on June 14, 2008, Anna started having problems with her heart. Our family will never be the same without her. She will always be loved and never forgotten. Anna will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Jim Skoreyko of Red Deer, her parents; Ed and Leona Snihur of Red Deer, one son, Lee Snihur of Red Deer, and two daughters; Cassidy Skoreyko of Red Deer and Courtney Skoreyko of Red Deer. She is also survived by three brothers; Lawrence (Beryl) Lamoureux of Red Deer, Paul (Marty) Lamoureux of Red Deer, and Robert (Bonnie) Snihur of Lacombe and four sisters; Arlene (John) Skrocki of Rocky Mountain House, Jeannette (Dan) Devine of Blackfalds, Diane (Glenn) Hicks of Red Deer, and Mary (Curtis) Blaire of Red Deer.
