Sophie Doreen Pohl passed away peacefully on April 4, 2014 at the Lacombe Nursing Home, after a long battle with MS at the age of 80. Sophie was born May 13, 1933 in Millet, Alberta. She was predeceased by her parents; Emil and Natalie Pohl her brothers; George and Sig Pohl, sister Lucile Willington, and a brother in law Martin Willington. She leaves to mourn a very special friend Dennis Stelter, her siblings; Rose (Bill) Nelson, Sid Pohl, Elafeen (Wilfred) Belmore, Almie (Barb) Pohl, sister in law Willie (Ernie) Stebner and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff of Lacombe Extended Care for the care they have given her for the past 22 years. A memorial service will be held at Wilson's Funeral Chapel, Lacombe, Alberta on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at 1 PM.
