SORENSON August 30, 1944-November 16, 2008 Murray Dale Sorenson of Calgary, age 64, left the confines of his tired body and passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 16, 2008 after a long battle with MS. He will be greatly missed by the love of his life, his devoted wife of forty-three years, Dianna. He found immense joy in his two daughters and sons-in-laws; Jody and Kelly Schwartz of Calgary and Lori and Kent Titterington of Balzac. Murray was the proud grandpa of six grandchildren: Alanna, Adam and Lauren Schwartz and Charlie, Tommy and Jenny Titterington. He was also loved by his siblings: Tom Sorenson of Calgary, Carol Stewart of Stettler, and Paul Sorenson and his wife Linda of Edmonton; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Ches Sorenson, mother, Josephine Sorenson, step-mother, Reta Sorenson and brother-in-law, Bob Stewart. Prior to his diagnosis with Multiple Sclerosis, Murray was a successful agent with London Life for twenty-five years, and enjoyed golf and curling with family and his many friends. While MS may have slowed his body, his spirit and sense of humour were enjoyed by all who knew him. The family wishes to thank the many kind and compassionate doctors, nurses and home-care workers who have helped Murray along the way.
