FARROW Stanley Frederick Farrow, born November 10, 1919 in Vanguard Saskatchewan, passed away October 22, 2005 in Kelowna, BC at home surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Margaret; four children; Allayne (Ernie), Bruce (Loraine), David (Debbie), Kim (Shelley); ten grandchildren and three sisters Grace, Rita and Noreen. Stan will be remembered as a dedicated family man whose happiest times were family celebrations and working in his garden. "The kiss of the sun for pardon The song of the birds for mirth One is nearer to God's heart in a garden more than Anywhere else on earth." Stan's life shone with integrity and hard work. From helping to support his family through the depression years, to serving his country during World War II in England, Italy and Holland in the Royal Canadian Army, and was mentioned in dispatches. He was also known for building several businesses in Kelowna and for raising and supporting his children. Stan requested a private cremation with no funeral.
