STRAND 1972- 2007 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our cherished husband and father, Robert Daniel "Rob" Strand, on Sunday, September 23, 2007 at the age of 35 years. He leaves to mourn his loving wife, Sherry of 11 years, one daughter, Brittany, 16 years of age, one son, Devon, 10 years of age. He is also survived by his parents, Bob and Connie Strand of Red Deer, a brother, Kim Strand of Caroline, a sister, Chris of Toronto, parents-in-law, Wayne and Donna Arrison of Red Deer, brother-in-law, Jeff Arrison and his son Brad Arrison and sisters-in-law, Cathy and Bryce Kalynchuk and their three children, Simone, Hunter and Marshal all of Calgary. Rob was known for his big trucks and for finding the biggest muddiest holes to play in and eventually get stuck in. When it came to stories, Rob always had the best to tell, which left all his friends in hysterics. We will cherish the memories that we have of Rob and forever hold him in our hearts. Relatives and friends are invited to come pay their respects at Eventide Funeral Chapel, 4820-45 Street, Red Deer on Thursday, September 27, 2007 between 7-9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Balmoral Bible Chapel, North Side of Highway 11 East, Red Deer on Friday, September 28, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Burnt Lake Cemetery.
