SWEET Mr. F. Bruce Sweet of Red Deer passed away suddenly on Tuesday, October 4, 2005 at the age of 51 years. Bruce is survived by his loving wife of 20 years Twyla, one son Ryan and three daughters Sarah (Levi Clark), Kelly and Stephanie (Clayton Zieffle), two grand- children Cyrus and Carly. Also left to mourn the lost of Bruce is Llyod Sweet of Florida, Roberta Sweet, Tom (Sylvia) Sweet, May (Bill) Ferguson, Wayne (Christina) Sweet, Veronica (Mike) Callowhill, Theresa (Jim) Fortais and Marie Sweet all of Ontario; Floyd Burk, Tahl (Christine) Burk and Twayne Burk of Sylvan lake and Thad (Anwen Boyd) Burk of Calgary. He was predeceased by his parents Carl Sweet and Frances Gaskin and his mother-in-law Elsie Burk. Bruce was born and raised in the Windsor Essex area of Ontario. Before moving to Alberta in 1979, he worked in the auto factories. At the time of his passing, Bruce was employed with Greyhound Lines of Canada were he had been a driver for the last 25 years. Bruce loved to travel and during his free time, he enjoyed working on cars and attending hockey games. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation on Monday, October 10, 2005 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. as well as from 12:00 noon to 12:50 p.m. on Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, 6287 – 67A Street, Red Deer, AB. A Celebration Of Life for the Late Bruce Sweet will be held on Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, 6287 – 67A Street, Red Deer, AB.
