1953 - 2014
Terry Hammond of Sylvan Lake passed away in his home May 13, 2014 at the age of 61 years. He will forever be remembered by his wife Marlene Hammond, his children Richard (Trish) Hammond, Melissa (Jamey) Myers, and Jenna Hammond; his grandchildren Kennedy Hammond, Chase Myers, Huxley Hammond, Parker Hammond, Ellie Myers, Ainsley Hammond, and Terrynn Hammond. Terry Hammond's occupation was painting but his passion was the outdoors. The numerous camping, fishing and hunting excursions created many memories that his family and friends will have for the rest of their lives. On a good night Terry would play the spoons and/or the harmonica which caused the nick name "the Sylvan Lake Spoon Man". A celebration of his life will be held at the Lion's Hall Sylvan Lake, AB May 25, 2014 between 1pm and 4pm.
