Theresa Marquart, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend passed away on September 26 at the age of 71.
Theresa was born in Hanna, Alberta on May 16, 1947, was the daughter of Charles Webber and Katherine McAuliffe. She spent her childhood years on the farm, first at Endiang, and later at Clive, Alberta. Theresa had many fond memories of growing up on the farm with her 5 brothers and 3 sisters. After high school, Theresa attended Red Deer College and then went on to the University of Calgary where she received her Bachelor of Education. There she met Ken Marquart and they were married in 1970. Together, they pursued their teaching careers and raised their 3 beautiful sons. Theresa loved her family dearly and found such joy in her seven precious grandchildren.
Theresa is survived by her loving husband Ken; sons Anthony (Nanette), Curtis (Melanie), and Russell; and grandchildren Kenneth, Mila, Vianne, and Colin of Regina and Hailey, Jillian and Tessa of Red Deer. She leaves behind three sisters: Loretta (Vic) Tetreault, Mary (Kelly) McCann, Katherine (Daryl) Snider and three brothers: Neil (Dorothy), Roger (Elaine), Charlie (Margaret).
She was predeceased by two brothers-Jack and Wayne. Upon Theresa's request a family gathering with close friends will be held to celebrate her life on Sunday September 30th, 2018 at 11:00am at the Eventide Funeral Chapel.
